Making Value Visible
The most successful companies of the future will help solve environmental and industrial challenges while creating attractive returns.
For more than 15 years, we have invested in businesses that help customers use fewer resources, improve efficiency and build more resilient operations.
Over time, we started asking a deeper question:
How can we better understand and communicate the value these companies create? That question led to Alder’s Natural Capital Framework.
The framework helps us make environmental value more visible by measuring both a company’s footprint and its handprint, the positive impact created through products and services. By translating environmental outcomes into a common value language, we can have better conversations with management teams, boards, customers and investors about what impact actually means and where it creates value.
