Alder Fund I AB concludes a successful journey – final holding divested

Stockholm, November2nd, 2025

Alder today announces that the final holding in Alder Fund I AB (“Alder Fund I”) has been divested, marking the successful completion of the fund’s lifecycle. Launched in 2010, Alder Fund I was one of the first private equity funds in Europe with a focus on profitable companies contributing to long-term environmental benefits.

Alder Fund I was Alder’s inaugural fund and established the foundation for the investment strategy that continues to shape Alder today – combining industrial focus with sustainable growth. Throughout its lifetime, the fund has invested in companies that actively drive environmental improvements while demonstrating strong business performance.

The fund has generated a return of more than three times invested capital, confirming the strength of Alder’s approach to value creation in companies with a clear sustainability profile.

“We are proud that Alder Fund I has delivered both strong financial returns and meaningful environmental impact. The fund has been a milestone in Alder’s development and has defined our continued strategic direction,” says Henrik Flygar, Partner at Alder.

Alder now looks forward to continuing to invest in companies with high growth potential that can make a real difference for both the environment and society.
