Alder expands with new team members!

We are excited to announce that we are welcoming four new team members to Alder. The recruitments have been made to build an organization for continued growth of Alder and to further broaden and strengthen the capabilities and experiences in the team.

Elise Fahlén, Investment Director

Elise has more than ten years of experience as an investment professional, including roles at H&M Group Ventures, Blue, EQT and Boston Consulting Group. Elise joins Alder in March 2024.

Martin Hörnberg, Investment Analyst

Martin has worked as an investment intern at Alder and accepted a permanent role as Investment Analyst. Martin holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University and has previous work experience from Bain & Company and Voi.

Johanna Strömqvist, Chief Financial Officer

Johanna had joined Alder in a new role as Chief Financial Officer. Johanna has more than 20 years of experience from the financial industry. She was most recently CFO at RAM and started her career with Investor.

Felicia Jakobsson, Investment Controller

Felicia will join Alder in a new role as Investment Controller to develop Alder's financial as well as impact reporting. Felicia holds a Bachelor in Business and Economics within Sustainable Development from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala and joins us in April 2024 from a role as Fund Controller at Apex Fund Services.

The Role

Alder is a flat organisation consisting of a small and tight-knit team. As a part of the team, you will gain experience from all stages of the private equity investment process and be given significant responsibility, including but not limited to:

- Screening for new investment opportunities

- Company valuations and close participation in investment processes

- Strategic and financial analysis of markets and companies

- Supporting the team and portfolio company management in value creation initiatives

- We are looking for an ambitious individual, fluent in Swedish and English, to join our team in Stockholm for a 6-12 month full-time internship starting spring or fall 2024.

You are likely pursuing a degree in a relevant BSc- or MSc program, e.g. Finance, Accounting or Industrial Engineering. Relevant work experience is a strong plus. You are an analytical individual with a keen interest in finance and business development. You are open-minded and look forward to working in an environment characterised by Alder's values: Development, Collaboration, Persistence and Sustainability in all aspects.

The spring position commences in January 2024 and the fall position in August 2024. Each internship lasts 6-12 months, depending on personal preferences.
