Alder invests in Systeminstallation, a leading provider of building automation solutions
Stockholm – March 17th, 2021 – Alder II AB (“Alder”), a Nordic investment fund focusing on the development of sustainable companies, has closed an investment in Systeminstallation i Varberg AB (“Systeminstallation”, “SI” or the “Company”). Alder will become majority owner of Systeminstallation and will partner with SI’s founders and management to continue the growth journey of the Company.
Systeminstallation, founded in 1998, designs, develops and delivers building automation solutions and related software and services. The Company is headquartered in Varberg, Sweden, and has an annual turnover of ca. 160+ MSEK with ca. 110 employees. SI has under the leadership of its four founders, grown steadily from Varberg to five additional locations in south-western Sweden and continuously broadened its offering from the building automation segment to also include unique solutions for e.g. logistics, water & sewage and spa & bath. In addition, SI has developed software applications and remote monitoring services provided on a subscription basis.
Systeminstallation’s offering contributes to the environmentally sustainable management of buildings by providing customers with a cost- and energy-efficient solution while also ensuring a good working environment. SI is highly regarded by its customers and has a strong and inclusive corporate culture, creating loyalty among both customers and employees.
As the new majority owner, Alder will provide capital, experience and support to enable Systeminstallation to continue its growth journey through geographical expansion and further developments of the company’s application-specific software and solution offerings.
